Heart 106.2 FM, the Chrysalis Radio Group-owned station, has become the number one station in London with a weekly reach of 1.9 million and a 6.4 per cent share of listening, according to Rajar figures for the third quarter of 2005.

Accantia up for sale

Accantia, the owner of the Simple and Lil-lets brands, has been put up for sale by private equity group Duke Street Capital for &£300m. Investment bank Citigroup has been appointed to sell the company, which was bought by Duke Street last year for &£225m.

MyTravel closes 110 Going Places

MyTravel, the package holiday company, is to close 110 of its high street Going Places outlets. There are over 600 Going Places travel agents and the company says it aims to have a more manageable portfolio of 500 and that staff will be redeployed within the group.
