The UK’s 2024 Top 100 most effective marketers revealed

One hundred marketers across 10 category groupings have been awarded a place in Marketing Week’s 2024 Top 100, sponsored by Digitas.

Marketing Week is proud to unveil 2024’s Top 100 Most Effective Marketers, sponsored by Digitas, a comprehensive list that represents the best of the best working in the UK marketing industry today.

The final 100 marketers, who span many categories across both B2C and B2B, were chosen based on their contribution to business success, for their impact and influence both within their company and the wider industry, and for their innovative thinking and leadership during what has been another challenging year.

Thanks to our illustrious list of judges who helped to determine the final 10 in each category grouping.

“Congratulations to our Top 100. Your selection follows a rigorous process that saw many of your peers just miss out. You should wear your inclusion as the badge of honour it is meant to be,” says Russell Parsons, editor-in-chief of Marketing Week. “You should also congratulate yourself for demonstrating the best of marketing. In challenging circumstances, with expectations of what’s possible increasing but the means to deliver often contracting, you have delivered.”

Jen Berry, UK CEO of Digitas, adds: “This list is about more than just results; it’s about recognising those who are paving the way with fresh ideas and innovative thinking. We can’t wait to celebrate the remarkable achievements and groundbreaking work that are defining the future of marketing.”

We will be hosting a session with three of the Top 100 – NatWest CMO Margaret Jobling, Rebecca Hirst, chief marketing and communications officer at EY and Charlotte Lock, John Lewis’s customer director – at Marketing Week’s Festival of Marketing on Thursday. They will be joined by Digitas’s Berry on a panel hosted by Marketing Week’s Parsons to share their thoughts on how marketing can transform organisations.

In November, Marketing Week will also be unveiling a list of 10 ‘Future Marketing Leaders’, again in partnership with Digitas. The 10 rising stars will be selected from a long list of nominations from our Top 100 and other marketing leaders, based on their business impact, influence and ability as prospective leaders.
