Oystercatchers appoints Becky McKinlay as managing director

Becky McKinlay named permanent MD after joining the marketing services provider on an interim basis in April.   

Oystercatchers has appointed Becky McKinlay as its new managing director.

McKinlay will oversee the marketing services consultants’ agency search and selection, operational excellence, and training divisions. Additionally, she will lead development of the Oystercatchers Club.

McKinlay joined Oystercatchers, which is owned by Marketing Week parent company Centaur, in April as interim managing director. She replaces Richard Robinson who left in March.

McKinlay joined Oystercatchers from the Financial Times, where she headed up its content marketing studio Alpha Grid. She has had several senior roles agency and client side at The Economist Group, WPP and Haygarth.

“The last two months have provided me with real optimism about how we further develop the Oystercatchers business in service of our clients and agencies.”

Oystercatchers sits in Centaur’s Xeim network, which in addition to Marketing Week includes The Festival of Marketing, The Mini MBA, Creative Review, Influencer Intelligence.
